Leadership is key when it comes to the ability to:

✨Attract top talent
✨Retain top talent
✨Engage top talent

Throughout my career - whether I was thinking about being a leader, becoming a leader, or being a leader - I looked to my leaders for guidance on my journey. I had the privilege to work with many types of leaders - from the types that lit my soul on fire with visions of the future and possibility to the types that had me silently searching for jobs at my desk...

In fact, it was the leaders that had me ready to quit that inspired my move into the Coaching world.

When I wasn't thinking about quitting on some of the less than great leaders, I was determined to be better, to do better, and to create better. I looked everywhere for learning opportunities and inspiration. I thought back about the greatest leader I'd been gifted the chance to work with and the ones who'd left too soon. The only thread that stood common among the greatest leader's I've known were a few traits:

💡Individual Strengths (each leader's was different) were clear & fully engaged
💡Each was Emotionally Intelligent with the ability to deeply connect with people
💡They exuded confidence, without needing to KNOW EVERYTHING

Not one of these things is taught in Leadership Training... these are inherent to each individual. It took my own Coach to show me what a little support could do to bring these qualities forward.

What would it mean for a Leader to find these qualities within themselves? What would it mean for companies who help them do that?
